We always wanted to use dried fruits differently – the rebel in us wanted to take it out of tarts and cakes and transcend the delicious fig pudding we had in Turkey , which is the largest fig producer of the world. So we kept the natural sweetness of figs and apricots,its indigenous color and texture and made something interesting with the help of some homemade Indian spices. Then we did a tasting session with our initial set of customers, and voila we got another mouthwatering treat!
